ZetrOZ develops wearable bioelectronic devices for the delivery of sustained acoustic medicine.  Built on our proprietary miniaturized ultrasound platform designed for the treatment of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, our devices are clinically proven to enhance tissue recovery, accelerate the body’s natural healing processes, and relieve pain.

Since our founding in 2009, we have successfully applied this innovative technology to the development of two products now available on the market:

  • sam® Sport delivers sustained acoustic medicine for the treatment of select medical conditions such as the relief of pain, the relief of muscle spasm, the treatment of joint contracture and the local increase in circulation.  

    It has received FDA clearance in the United States for up to four hours of continuous daily therapeutic intervention, making it the first device in the FDA’s new wearable ultrasound product category (PFW). sam also has received the CE Mark and Canada License, and is a Class II medical device in Singapore and Malaysia. In the non-US markets, it is also indicated for healing. 
  • UltrOZ™ Elite has transformed the treatment of common musculoskeletal conditions in horses.  Field-tested and recommended by veterinarians, it is recognized by riders for its effective delivery of sustained acoustic medicine.

Our facilities are ISO 13485 compliant.  We have implemented a comprehensive quality management system to meet all manufacturing and regulatory requirements.

Research & Development
In addition, our R&D concept lab is a dynamic forum designed to encourage ingenuity and cultivate new ideas.  It is led by a team of scientists and engineers with unparalleled expertise in bioelectronics and supported by a Clinical and Scientific Advisory Board of experts and key opinion leaders in ultrasound usage.  By combining this expertise with rich biomedical capabilities, we are developing a pipeline of additional bioelectronic devices.
