George Lewis, PhD

President and Chief Executive Officer, Board Member and Medical Device Innovator

Dr. Lewis is the President and Chief Executive Officer of ZetrOZ Systems, LLC, and the creator of sustained acoustic medicine. Dr. Lewis has spent most of his career in leadership positions in medical technology, translational science and education. A founder of several organizations, he has experience in raising capital, driving growth and building out the culture, operations and scalability of companies. Dr. Lewis was a Presidential Life Science Fellow, a National Science Foundation Fellow, a National Institutes of Health and Department of Defense Principal Investigator, and United States Senate Page for the Secretary of State. He has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and abstracts, and has filed over 40 global patents. Dr. Lewis was the prior Chairman for Therapeutic Ultrasound, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. Dr. Lewis graduated summa cum laude in biomedical engineering from the University of Miami, FL and received his doctorate in biomedical engineering from Cornell University, NY. 

Jeffrey Purvin

Board Member, Entrepreneur and Medical Device Executive

Mr. Purvin has spent his career in senior management positions in both consumer packaged goods and medical device companies. He has raised $100 Million in venture capital and public funding in Silicon Valley California, Vancouver Canada and New York City. Most recently Mr. Purvin was the CEO at Response Biomedical (TSX: RBM, OTCQB: RPBIF), where he directed the development, manufacturing and worldwide marketing of a variety of medical tests and test machines used by medical laboratories and government authorities. Prior to joining Response Biomedical, Mr. Purvin was the Founder and CEO of Calibra Medical, Inc which was acquired by Johnson & Johnson in 2012. Prior to Calibra, Mr. Purvin was Chairman and CEO of Metrika, Inc who developed a handheld, point-of-care, HbA1c test. Metrika was acquired by Bayer in 2006.

William Jolly

Board Member, Investment Banker and Brand Specialist

Mr. Jolly has spent his career focused in healthcare and consumer products. He held senior level leadership positions at Procter & Gamble (GM & President) and Kimberly-Clark (VP) managing strategy, marketing and P&L for the Asia-Pacific. Over the last decade Mr. Jolly has managed the IPO for Central European Distribution Corporation (NASDAQ: CEDC), multiple private placements for Interleukin Genetics (AMEX: ILI), multiple private placements for Med-Design Corporation (acquired) and multiple financings for Dotmenu.com, a private company. 

Dwayne Hofstatter

Chief Innovation Officer, Board Member, Physical Rehabilitation Specialist and Commercialization Executive

Mr. Hofstatter has dedicated his career to the advancement of medical and orthopedic devices, providing pain relief and renewed freedom to patients around the world. Currently, Mr. Hofstatter is the Chief Innovation Officer at ZetrOZ Systems, LLC leading strategic partnerships and market expansion for the sam® family of products. Prior to joining ZetrOZ Systems, Mr. Hofstatter was Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of Hollywog, LLC leading the global commercialization of therapeutic medical devices. Prior to Hollywog,  Mr. Hofstatter was Senior VP of Global Business & Professional Relations at DJO Global. Prior to DJO Global, Mr. Hofstatter was VP of Sales and Marketing for Chattanooga Group (Acquired by DJO Global in 2008). In addition to senior leadership roles in the medical device industry, Mr. Hofstatter is currently elected to the Board of Trustees for the Foundation for Physical Therapy, representing the physical therapy rehabilitation industry, and on the APTA's Round Table Committee.
