ZetrOZ™ has been pioneering the miniaturization and integration of ultrasound transducer, electronics, power and coupling means since 2009. The companies proprietary technology and engineering facilities support medical, military and industrial research, development and commercialization.
Laboratory: ZetrOZ biomedical, electrical, mechnical and chemical research laboratories are located in the heart of down town Ithaca, NY and consist of over 3000 sq.ft. of wet lab, and design and fabriaction space, including areas for microscopy, wet chemistry, electronic fabrication, ultrasound computer modeling and simulation stations, ultrasound power and beam measurments, and microfabrication. The labs are designed and equipped to perform medical, industrial and military ultrasound research from basic science to commericilization.
Equipment: Housed within the ZetrOZ laboratory space are the following equipment: high-flow fume ventelation, sonicator, ultrasound power meter, ultrasound calibrated hydrophones and water tank, ocilliscopes, function generators, spectrum analyzer, ultrsound pulsers, power supplys, solder and desolder work stations, degassing stations, oil vacuum pumps, impedance analyzers, Micro-milling machine stations, analytical balance, heating/cooling circulating bath, pressure and controled atmosphere oven, microinfusion pumps, computer work stations with electronic design, 3D-printer with ABS and PLA capability, multifunctional daqmx devices, high-speed sander, band/miter saws and various maching tools.
Manufacturing: ZetrOZ is fully equipped to support a variety of transducer and electronic manufacturing and final testing. The UltrOZ Elite product line is currently manufactured under strict GMP and quality controls for our veterinary product line.
Facilities are fully equipped with the latest micro-machinery and computers necessary for custom transducer design and fabrication. The mechanical laboratory has means for most advanced fabrication processes such as CNC machining, lapping and ceramic tooling.
Offices: Located on the second floor, management offices are directly above the research and development laboratories. Ouside the offices on the second floor is a vesitile collaborative shared space where meetings, coffee breaks and social gatherings are held.
Computer: ZetrOZ has 10 PCs in service for exclusive use by our employees. All computers are networked to allow easy transfer of data, images, and other information among the team.
All data and documents are backed up centrally through support of a full time cloud-based network/database administrator.
Conference and Meetings: ZetrOZ has two conference rooms to accommodate up to 12 individuals in each, and acess to video multimedia conferencing.
